PhotoCamp Day 1

Camp started on Monday. First, we learned about taking pictures with the manual setting. We had to set different variables in the camera in order to achieve a good snapshot. After learning when and how to change the camera's variables, we went downtown to try out what we learned. these are some of the pics that I took:

After taking these pictures, all of us came back to the studio. and edited them on the free photo editing website: picnik. Some of us used cool effects on the pictures to make them even better.

PhotoCamp Day 4

Today we went to the aircraft carrier, the Yorktown, in order to take abstract pictures. Abstract pics are pics that display a pattern in some way. After coming back from the Yorktown, we took pictures of us playing with lasers and flashlights. Because we left the camera's sensor exposed for a long time, the picture contained everything that we did with the light.

PhotoCamp Day 5

This is the last day of camp. Sniff, sniff, tear, tear. I've had a lot of fun while learning about Photography this week. Camp was a great intro to photography and increased my interest in the subject greatly. This last day, we took pictures of objects in the studio.
